Home for 6Ft6 is at the Austin’s vineyard, in Geelong’s Moorabool Valley sub-region found between Geelong and Ballarat.   Land that offers perfect grape growing soil which, when coupled with the cool Mediterranean climate of the Moorabool Valley, provides perfect conditions for our 6Ft6 grapes to grow into wines that are sure to bring out that 6Ft6 spirit in us all. 

2021 Pinot Noir Tasting Note
A graceful and elegant cool climate pinot noir, offering something perfect for all occasions. Raspberries, strawberries, and plums are seen aromatically, along with a hint of spice on the nose. The tannins are soft and supple, adding roundness and supporting the fruit weight. This is a delightful, easy drinking, cool climate pinot that shows purity of fruit and will keep you wanting more.

2021 Shiraz Tasting Note
This shiraz shows amazing colour and clarity, with deep crimson red and bright purple hues flashing. Hints of cardamom, spice and cinnamon on the nose, with a lovely herbaceous undertone. Delicious primary fruit characters of plum, blackberry combined with a hint of aniseed flavour give the wine depth and intensity. Finished with supple, fine grained tannins that help extend length to deliver an overall shiraz packed with body and flavour.

2021 Pinot Gris Tasting Note
A lovely balanced white suitable for all occasions. Primary fruit characters of white peach and apples are followed with a hint of spice and honeysuckle, offering layers of depth and intrigue. The palate is juicy, round with a creamy, textured finish. More honey and pear notes are followed with a slight hint of crisp natural acidity which keep the wine fresh and vivacious.

2021 NV Prosecco Tasting Note
Lemon verbena, nashi pear and ripe apple scents cascade across some juicy froth, gentle acidity and je ne sais quoi crunch.  6Ft6 prosecco is how it should be; light, crisp and clean with citrusy lemon curd, pear and honey notes. It has a fresh, sherbet mouthfeel that’s smooth and balanced.

Prosecco Rose NV Tasting Note
This is an amazingly delicate and floral prosecco rosé, with a punch of flavour. It has raspberry, honeysuckle with strawberries and cream on the nose. The mouthfeel is lively and fun, with some candied fruit characters coming through, combined with delicious vivacious bubbles. True to style, we have created seriously uncomplicated, yet highly drinkable bubbles. Vibrant and refreshing, our Prosecco Rose really hits the spot and is a summer specialty.
