Japanese Black Pine Bonsai

Pinus thunbergii, the black pine, Japanese black pine, or Japanese pine, is a pine tree native to coastal areas of Japan and South Korea.

Like most pine trees (and bonsai), the Japanese black pine bonsai should remain outdoors.

Never let the soil completely dry out.  Whenever the soil seems dry, thoroughly water your tree.  In the growing season, this can be daily.  If you need help, a good moisture meter will guide you.
