Sheaf Vase by TONiC Ceramics

Handbuilt in dark mid-fire clay and finished in a speckled white glaze. Pleated sides gather at the waist like a tied bundle of stems, finished with a cluster of clay flowers, then flare out into a soft, wavy rim. Every ridge catches the glaze a little differently, so the dark clay shows through along the folds.

Made for a single stem, a loose ikebana arrangement (comes with a removable ceramic frog).

One of a kind.

Height 20cm. Width 20.5cm (3cm at mouth opening).

Made In our South Yarra studio.
