Slate Vase by TONiC Ceramics

Wheel-thrown in dark grey mid-fire clay and left unglazed on the outside, so you get the raw, matte texture of the clay itself. Fine pale streaks run through the body where a lighter clay was folded through, catching the throwing lines as they wrap round the form. The tall, tapered body narrows to a small rolled lip.

Glazed inside, so it’s watertight and ready for fresh stems (or dried foliage), or just as good standing empty.

One of a kind.

Dimensions: 41cm H x 16cm W.
