Strata Vessel by TONiC Ceramics

Wheel-thrown from dark and light mid-fire clays folded through each other, so the pattern runs right through the walls rather than sitting on the surface. The bands sweep and wrap round the full, rounded body like layers in rock, and no two sides look the same. The outside is left unglazed to keep the raw texture of the clay, finished with a softly rolled lip.

Glazed inside in a glossy dark finish.  Only suitable for dried flowers or branches due to a small crack on the base.
