TONiC Ceramics Marbled Pedestal Bowl

A one-of-a-kind sculptural pedestal bowl, hand-thrown in our South Yarra studio — a marbled stoneware base supporting a wide, shallow bowl finished in a soft grey glaze. Part of our marbled vessel release.

This piece is something different in the collection — not a planter, not a vase, but a sculptural object in its own right. The dramatic mounted form gives it the presence of an offering bowl or chalice, while the soft grey-glazed dish makes it perfectly functional as a fruit bowl, ring catcher or jewellery dish. Or simply left empty as a quiet sculpture on a console or coffee table.
