TONiC Ceramics Marbled Vessel - Onyx Strata

A one-of-a-kind sculptural vessel, hand-thrown in our South Yarra studio with bold, graphic marbling that runs in horizontal bands across a classical, full-bellied form.

The exterior is built from marbled clay — black, speckled light grey clays layered and turned together on the wheel — creating sharp linear bands that read like geological strata or wood grain.  Left fully unglazed inside and out (but sealed), the surface is raw, tactile, and natural.

Designed to be used as a vase for dried stems, branches or bold foliage.  Can also be used as a cover pot — simply drop a nursery pot inside. Equally beautiful empty as a piece of object art.
